Helsinki, the capital of Finland surprised the world when they release their own brand of architecture. It was a clear breakthrough from the predictable rise of the Greek and Roman designs. Unlike the latter two great cities, Finland was no conqueror. Although it had its share of wars during the medieval period, seeing as how it was still a part of Europe, unlike it co European nation like Great Britain and France, or even Italy, it did had no ambition with regards to domination of the western empire.
Architecture in Helsinki was distinct in a way that it reflected the very same laid back disposition of its people. Unique but no less elaborate in structure and form, it was still relatively simple in comparison to its British and French counter parts.

Hand carrying your essential oils on a plane is not as simple as it once was. Since 2006, when liquids on-board a flight first became known as a possible threat to passenger safety, government agencies at first banned all liquids to be carried on board planes, and then changed their restrictions to allowing for small amounts of liquids to be carried on a flight.

The simplest way to take aromatherapy with you on-board a flight currently is to avoid these restrictions altogether and to just take essential oils that have already been absorbed into a tissue, wipe, handkerchief or cotton ball where they can be taken out and inhaled or used to wipe down a surface as needed.

If you need to carry the essential oils or other liquids on the flight, you can place essential oils in smaller 5 ml, or 5/8 dram glass vials and larger containers for oils you will use more often. You can also place lotions, soaps, shampoo, conditioners, and other personal care liquids, creams, and gels in smaller 1 oz. or 2 oz. containers. Just be sure that your bag is closely secured to avoid leakages.

No matter how irritating it may seem, don’t take for granted the reminders given to you by your friends and family regarding your trip. If they constantly tell you not to drink water from uncertain sources, don’t. You’re not a superman to deflect bacteria (I guess even superman can’t do this!). Buy loads of bottled water. I know that may seem a little of a hassle for you, but there’s nothing better than having a real “safe” trip.

But, if you are really that hard-headed, or perhaps you’re journeying on a tight budget and wouldn’t want to spend a dime for bottled water, then you can use tap water instead PROVIDED THAT you boil it or drop an iodine tablet on your glass before you drink it.

If you and your friends are planning on a trip, say, two days from now, never ever eat foods that you’re unsure of (or those that require a lot of handwork, like gourmets, maybe?). You might get diarrhea and not be able to board the plane two days from now.

What you can do is make a little sacrifice. You like pizza? You can settle with that for the mean time. Aide from the delicious toppings of mozzarella, pepperoni and mushrooms, its ingredients don’t spoil that fast. Plus, before a pizza is served on your tabletop, it has been baked in a high temperature oven that most probably killed all the bacteria.
